Amiga 500 - External HardDiskDrive
I had a Amiga with a 135mb (yes MB) Harddisk-Drive in a Case from AlfaPower connected to the left Sideport
After making a little Research and questioned what it is cappable of i was quite surprised.
Plan A: Old IDE-Drive
As my Harddisk has not survived (at least in the First Place/until now) i searched for a Replacement.
Unfortunatly i was not able to get a new suitable ATA-Harddisk so i switched to Plan B
Plan B: New 4gb CompactFlash Drive
A good idea u stumbled appon was to replace the Harddisk with a 4gb Compact Flash Card.
Therefore i needed a IDE 2 CompactFlash-Adapter and a 44-PIN-Harddisk-Cable normally used for 2,5„-Harddisks.
Since the AlfaPower Frame is suited for 3,5“-Drives i also needed a Adapter-Frame for mounting 2,5„-Harddisks. I ordered fancy red because all Orks know: If it's red, it's faster.
