====== My Amiga Projects ====== ===== Revive the AMIGA ===== I recently digged out my Amiga of Childhood/Youth and want to revive it. [[amiga:hardware|It's a AMIGA 500 rev 5 with +512KB Ram-Card, external FDD and a external AlfaPower-HDD-Extension]] As i have no hope that any Floppy-Disk-Data survived 30 years i'd replace the internal Drive with a Gotek. I also wanted to revive my 135MB Harddisk but it sounds damaged. ==== GOTEK-Drive ==== UPDATE: Delivered 22.11.2025 * ** Project-Page: [[amiga:projects:gotek|Gotek-Drive]]** * ** Status: WorkInProgress** ==== Harddisk-Drive ==== * ** Project-Page: [[amiga:projects:hdd|Harddisk-Drive]]** * **Status: WorkInProgress** ===== Connect AMIGA 2 Network/Fileserver/Internet ===== Plan is 2 use the Amiga as Original as possible with ROM 1.3 and WB 1.3 and connect it 2 a Raspberry PI Zero via RS232-Connection and Cable. For sure there are other Ways which maybe are Part of future Projects - Thinking about replacing CPU with PI-Storm - but i want it 2 get running with the original Hardware first. * **Project-Page: [[amiga:projects:networking|Networking]] ** * **Status: Pending ** ===== Add more Roms ===== Was initially planed but most probably would be canceled preferring 2 play arround with PiStorm * **Status: Dismissed** ===== PiStorm ===== Replace Original CPU with PI-Storm-Module and Raspberry PI Zero. I know a PI3 or better would give better Performance, but i want 2 stay minimal, assuming that performance-gain with a Pi-Zero is more than enough. Also strips away the Necessity for more physical Rom-Chips or EEproms, Soldering/Cabels and Kickrom-Switch Should be possible 2 replace my Network-Connection as in Project above also but i would like 2 stick on this solution as i want 2 work with true Network-Speeds of those good old days via serial connection. * **Status: Planned**
